Scholarships, Grants and FellowshipsINTERNSHIP AT THE EMBASSY OF UKRAINE, WASHINGTON, D.C. The Washington Group, in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine, seeks candidates for its annual summer internship program at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington DC. Conducted by the TWG Fellowship Fund, the project aims to provide the Embassy with an intern to serve as a research assistant. In turn, that individual would gain valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of a foreign embassy in Washington DC. The intern will receive a stipend of $1,500. Applicants should have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies and be proficient in English and Ukrainian. They should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, along with computer and Internet expertise. The intern should expect to assist the embassy with needs and issues as they arise, including general office work. Candidates should submit the following information no later than April 7, 2008:

Chopivsky Fellowship Yale University Partial scholarships in graduate degree programs leading to Master's degrees at the Yale School of Management, at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and in the departments of International Relations and in International Economics and Developmental Economics. Applicants must be Ukrainian citizens and be first admitted to the appropriate faculties at Yale. Graduate school application deadlines at Yale are usually January 1. International Renaissance Foundation GRE Scholarship Program 25 vouchers per year given to students to take the official GRE exam. How to Apply to a U.S. University
Extensive materials on how to apply for higher education in the USA www.finaid.org contains a page for international students. It is discouraging to international students. It does contain information on student loans for international students and some other useful information but it does not represent a goldmine of funding.
www.usnews.com has information about TOEFL test score requirements for most colleges under the international heading for each college.
www.petersons.com has information about scholarships available to international students in the online college directory.
Books Scholarships Scholarship Opportunities
Funding for US Study Funding for US Study is a paper book published by the CIEE and available at www.ciee.org. This book is about $40.00 and contains information a whole range of scholarship available to international students. It deals primarily with graduate school programs.
